Branch Manager

Beesley and Fildes Ltd are a well-established, trusted name in the builder’s merchant’s industry for over 200 years, operating in the North-West.

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join our team in our Birkenhead branch.

What will you be doing? 

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service and achieving business objectives. The role involves managing staff, optimising inventory, maintain safety standards and building strong relationship with customers and suppliers. The Branch Manager plays a key role in ensuring the profitability and growth of the branch.

What you need: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the building merchants or construction materials industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, financial acumen and operational efficiency
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
