Role Responsibilities.

  • Operate and maintain wood machining equipment such as saws, planers, and routers.
  • Ensure the quality and precision of wood products by monitoring machining processes and making adjustments as needed.
  • Select appropriate wood materials and cutting tools based on project requirements.
  • Safely handle and manipulate wood stock, including loading and unloading materials onto machines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and fulfil customer orders efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate.

  • Proficient in operating a variety of wood machining equipment
  • Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to accurately set up machines for wood cutting and shaping.
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and precision in wood machining tasks to ensure high-quality finished products.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of different wood types, their properties, and how they respond to machining processes.
  • Exhibits a commitment to workplace safety, adhering to protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Works well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to meet production targets and fulfill customer orders.
