We are more than just building merchants, along with our yard, driver and counter roles we offer careers in sales, procurement, finance, HR, marketing to name a few. Many of our people have started on the yard and progressed into sales roles, working on our large accounts providing bulk to the construction industry.

I started my career in the industry in 1997. After working for various merchants across the North West, 17 years ago, I started with Beesley & Fildes and I must say it really does feel like home. I love the history of Beesley & Fildes, being over 200 years old is something to shout about in itself. The great thing is that the company has never lost that family feel, I always have and will feel like I am a part of the B&F family.
Beesley and Fildes have been very supportive with my career development. They’ve recognised that I have ambitions to step up into senior management in the next few years and have taken steps to ensure that I’m provided with the right training to achieve my goals. They have enrolled me on a level 5 leadership and management course, which fills me with great confidence, that they will support me in this process
I’ve been at B&F for over 6 years, I started in 2017 and have progressed through many different positions during my time here. The main thing I love about working here is the people. You get to know everyone, it is a very friendly and supportive environment.
