From our very first shop in Prescot, we’ve grown across the North West into a network of 9 branches, a distribution centre, a sawmill and our renowned garden centre. Its been quite a journey – and we are just getting started.

I started my career in the industry in 1997. After working for various merchants across the North West, 17 years ago, I started with Beesley & Fildes and I must say it really does feel like home. I love the history of Beesley & Fildes, being over 200 years old is something to shout about in itself. The great thing is that the company has never lost that family feel, I always have and will feel like I am a part of the B&F family.
Beesley and Fildes have been very supportive with my career development. They’ve recognised that I have ambitions to step up into senior management in the next few years and have taken steps to ensure that I’m provided with the right training to achieve my goals. They have enrolled me on a level 5 leadership and management course, which fills me with great confidence, that they will support me in this process
I’ve been at B&F for over 6 years, I started in 2017 and have progressed through many different positions during my time here. The main thing I love about working here is the people. You get to know everyone, it is a very friendly and supportive environment.
I started my career with Beesley & Fildes back in 2008 as a yard operative. Since then I have worked in various roles before progressing to Group Sales Manager. I love working here, there are not many places that you can have a conversation with the companies owner and know that everything you say is being listened to. I have always felt like I have been part of the Beesley & Fildes family since the day I started.
I’ve been with Beesley and Fildes for 7 years now. I joined the team in the Kitchen & Bathroom showroom at our Grafton Street branch and since then I’ve transitioned into our digital marketing team. I love the variety, and there is a real team spirit here. Its great to work in a place where your contributions are valued.
I joined Beesley and Fildes in 2022, starting out on the trade counter, and I’ve since progressed into a HR role. The journey has been incredibly rewarding, thanks to the amazing support from both colleagues and managers. Their encouragement has been instrumental in my development. I’ve also been given the opportunity to undertake a HR apprenticeship, allowing me to grow my skillset and advance my career.
I joined Beesley and Fildes in 2014 as a graphic designer and have worked my way up to Senior Marketing Executive. I love that i have the opportunity to be creative and having a work culture that is positive, and colleagues that are friendly and supportive makes all the difference. I feel lucky to be part of such a supportive and friendly environment.
