Apprenticeships at Beesley and Fildes give you the chance to learn, grow, and gain industry-recognised qualifications while building real experience in your role. Whether you’re new to the sector, or ready to take the next step in your career, an apprenticeship can help you develop the skills that stay with you for life.
How Apprenticeships Work
Apprenticeships are structured, supportive, and designed to fit around your day-to-day role. Typically, they range between 12 – 18 months in duration, depending on the level. Each programme is broken down into modules, usually taking 1-3 months each. Every module includes:
- Pre-set tasks and research
- Virtual learning such as webinars and 1-to-1 tutor sessions
- Coursework tasks and projects
- “Off the job” learning – relevant skills you gain whilst doing your job
You’ll need 6 hours per week to complete your apprenticeship. Some of this comes from set tasks, and the rest comes from practical learning during your working day.
Apprenticeship Levels
Apprenticeship programmes span multiple levels, so you can grow your career at your own pace.
- Level 2 – Intermediate (Equivalent to 5 GCSE’s)
- Level 3 – Advanced (Equivalent to 2 A-Levels)
- Level 4 – Higher (equivalent to a Higher National Certificate / Diploma)
- Level 5 – Higher (Equivalent to a Foundation Degree)
