Production Operative

We’re looking for a dedicated Production Operative to join our hardworking timber mill team. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the smooth running of our mill—helping to process, move, and prepare timber products to high standards. From assisting with cutting, stacking, and loading, to ensuring the work area is clean and materials are well-organised, your attention to detail and teamwork will help maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 16:00pm

Pay: This role is paid in accordance with the applicable National Minimum Wage rate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing timber to specification
• Reading cutting lists and working to visual and dimensional quality standards
• Supporting stock handling, material movement, and waste reduction
• Carrying out safety checks and maintaining a clean, safe workspace
• Reporting issues, equipment concerns, or hazards promptly

Requirements

• Experience in timber handling, joinery, or a production environment (preferred)
• Comfortable using woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
• FLT or Side Loader Licence (preferred)
• Willingness to undertake training and grow your skillset
