Timber Yard Operative

We’re on the lookout for a proactive Timber Yard Operative to become part of our dedicated team in Widnes

Pay: This role is paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage Rate

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am – 17:00pm, and alternate Saturdays 08:00am – 12:00pm

Main Duties:

• Comply with all Health and Safety requirements and maintain high level of housekeeping
• Ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient and polite manner
• Using appropriate methods and machinery to unload and dispatch goods
• Keeping all plant and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues or faults as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment (Desirable)
• Previous experience with timbers (desirable)
• FLT Licence (desirable)
