Yard Operative

Beesley and Fildes Ltd is a long-standing, family-run builders’ merchant with branches across the North West. We’re looking for a Yard Operative to join our friendly team in Birkenhead.

What you’ll be doing:

• Serving customers in the yard, supporting with collections and deliveries
• Picking, loading and unloading building materials safely
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well-organised
• Using forklifts and other equiptment
• working safely and following site procedures

Requirements:

• A full UK driving Licence (required)
• Experience in a yard, warehouse or similar environment
• Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)
• Excellent customer service skills

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am – 17:00pm, and alternate Saturdays 08:00am – 12:00pm

Pay: This role is paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage Rate
